Urdd Gobaith Cymru’s Centenary Best bits

Since 1922, the Urdd has provided opportunities for more than 4 million children and young people in Wales to enjoy sporting, cultural, residential, humanitarian and volunteering experiences through the medium of Welsh. Here’s a snap-shot of our best bits.

Register for two GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS™ title attempts

Join the massive celebrations the length and breadth of Wales, and help us achieve two Guinness World Records™ title attempts by singing the iconic Hei Mistar Urdd song together. Wear red, white and green, fly the Urdd's flag or arrange a coffee morning at your local community centre — you're all invited to join in the fun!

The challenge
